Today is the day designated as Resurrection Sunday, known as Easter to most of the world.
Reflecting on the moment when Christ’s resurrection became personal to me… On 2005, I was at a conference with other college students from across the country proclaiming their love for Christ! Because we were all like minded already, it made it easy to worship in full spirit and in truth! But one night during the worship service, they began to sing the song “Here I Am to Worship!”

The chorus began “Here I am to Worship, Here I am to bow down, Here I am to say that You’re My God!” It goes on to say, “You’re altogether lovely, altogether worthy, You’re altogether wonderful to me!” Now that all sounded lovely, and I was truly moved. But then they moved to the bridge, and the lyrics state, “I’ll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross!” It repeats, “I’ll never know, How much it Cost, to see MY sin upon that cross!”
Those words moved a mountain in my heart! When I began to sing the song, among my friends and other peers who celebrated in my worship, I began to walk boldly in the love that God has for me! To know that He gave his son, and His son was willing to give His own life, and because He gave life I can be set free!
In that moment, my mind was blown, my heart was open, and my spirit was renewed! I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and that day His sacrifice on the cross became personal to me!!
This Resurrection Sunday take time to reflect on your personal relationship with the Lord! Accept Him as your savior, and allow Him to reveal his personal intent for your life! #Choose2Believe that God wants your relationship over man’s religion! He wants the best for you, and for all that He has created you to do!
