Have you ever met a half-doer? Someone who skates through life half doing the things they need to get done?
They like nice things, but won’t keep a job! They like clean clothes, but don’t have the patience to wash them! They like to eat good, but too lazy to cook! Half- Doing It!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾This morning, I recognized that I was a half-doer! I LOVE to see my bed made, but I HATE making it! HALF-DOING IT!
Well, God in his infinite glory, His omniscient wisdom, His awesome Power, and His heavenly sense of humor said to me, “Just Do it!” “Just make the bed, Sherraye!” Now, you might be thinking, “That wasn’t God!” But trust me, We tight like that! Lol 😂
I got up, and I obeyed! I followed his direction and I did it! I made the bed! And that instantaneous gratification that I get when my Husband does the same (Because that’s His chore not mine lol) came over me!
I enjoy seeing the bed made when I come home from a long, tedious day at work. I enjoy knowing that one less thing is checked off my list. I enjoy knowing that whenever I get ready, my pillow and favorite blanket are right there waiting for me!
God is saying the same thing about the things He has told you! JUST DO IT! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You like to see God’s people saved, then stand up and speak His word! You like to see the people of God prosper, then start your consulting company to teach them how! You enjoy knowing that your family is safe, well then start your own security firm! If you like knowing that your child is getting the best education they can, go back to school to learn how to teach them! Whatever vision, purpose, destiny, talent, mindset, or physicality God has given to you to be a blessing to others, JUST DO IT!
Step out on faith, and follow every dream your heart has been set on! Choose2Believe that God will not only make provision for your vision, but that He will be there to guide you every step of the way!
